The sign gives a quality to the Call: it shows how the direction seeks to become recognizable, with the demand proper to each sign and the risk of mistaking it for an absolute to be reached perfectly. For each sign, I read the three Black Moons one after the other, then the open cross that starts from it.
The twelve signs
- Black Moon in Aries: beginning from oneself, without waiting for permission
- Black Moon in Taurus: stability, presence and fidelity to what has true worth
- Black Moon in Gemini: connecting, naming and distinguishing in order to understand
- Black Moon in Cancer: protecting, belonging and caring
- Black Moon in Leo: making visible, and radiating, what is unique from one's own center
- Black Moon in Virgo: discerning, refining and serving what can be improved
- Black Moon in Libra: a relationship in which justice, beauty and equality would coincide
- Black Moon in Scorpio: a truth capable of passing through loss, desire and metamorphosis
- Black Moon in Sagittarius: reaching a meaning vaster than experience
- Black Moon in Capricorn: holding, lasting and taking a real place in the world
- Black Moon in Aquarius: placing one's singularity in the service of what exceeds the individual
- Black Moon in Pisces: opening ordinary boundaries onto a vaster unity
How to read these worksheets
The three Black Moons are not always in the same sign, and they do not ask for the same thing there: the Mean seeks a course, the True brings up what calls in the body, the Corrected seeks attunement between the two. Each worksheet gives the three, then the open cross, four stations that go from the call to the trial of the return. For the definition of the Black Moon and the three calculations, see Lilith, the Black Moon in astrology; for the houses, Lilith in the twelve houses.
