In house 6, the Call makes itself heard in work and care. I would like to show what this lack asks, and why its answer is found not in house 6 but in the house opposite.
What house 6 calls for
The sixth house is the house of the repeated gesture: daily work, service rendered, care of the body, the order one maintains. A Black Moon here sets the lack in usefulness. I see this placement in people who work without respite in order to deserve to exist, who forgive themselves no disorder, or who, conversely, cannot hold any discipline and blame themselves for it. The lack is not a flaw. It is a place left open, and that place calls.
The answer stands opposite
Here is the point of method that governs this whole page. Each Black Moon has its respondent, the point facing it in the chart: to the apogee, which moves the Moon away, answers the perigee, which brings it close. The Call occupies one end of the axis, the answer the other. A Black Moon in house 6 therefore has its answer in house 12. What is missing from the useful gesture is not repaired by working more, but by accepting that part of the gesture be made without witness and without recognition.
Three Black Moons, three respondents. Christos answers the Mean, the Alicorn: the Word that accepts to take flesh. Apollo answers the Corrected, the Unicorn: attunement that accepts a realizable form. Priapus answers the True, Athena: vital power become presence in matter. For each, here is the opening of its worksheet in house 12, as I wrote it in volume 2: the figure, the risk, the answer. The facets that follow remain in the book.
Mean Black Moon in house 6: Christos in house 12
The Mean in house 6 carries the Call of the Alicorn in work and care. Its answer is Christos in house 12, “the first step without a witness”:
In house 12, the Pioneer begins without a witness. The scribe pursues his work in a cell no one visits; conviction finds enough strength within itself to sustain what has no public recognition yet. Invisibility can become proof of spiritual superiority. The person then shelters in it from others' judgment, at the risk of no longer letting their beginning encounter the world. Beginning in secret does not require staying there forever. Some beginnings need, one day, to become visible in order to truly bear their fruit.

Corrected Black Moon in house 6: Apollo in house 12
The Corrected in house 6 carries the Call of the Unicorn in work and care. Its answer is Apollo in house 12, “Protecting What Acts Out of Sight”:
In house 12, the Archer-Justiciar enters withdrawal, silent trials, inner life, and what works behind visible forms. The target does not show itself immediately. The person can defend those who are not seen, act without demanding recognition, and remain beside a suffering that quick solutions do not reach. They sometimes possess a secret courage: holding on in the shadow until a passage appears. Their sense of justice widens to include what cannot yet speak. They listen to dreams, silences, and underground movements without forcing them to become public right away.

True Black Moon in house 6: Priapus in house 12
The True in house 6 carries the Call of Athena in work and care. Its answer is Priapus in house 12, “the desire that hides”:
In house 12, the Phallus carries an intensity that remains real without being shown. Desire has a secret life; it can be fully experienced in retreat, sheltered from view. This concealed desire can turn against oneself, an impulse held so secret it ends up gnawing at the one who carries it instead of finding an outlet. Acknowledging the secret desire to oneself gives it a place, even when one chooses not to expose it.

What the book adds
Each worksheet of volume 2 continues beyond these three paragraphs: the facets of the respondent, one by one, with their gift, their drift and their attunement. For Christos, the Proclaimer, the Builder, the Visionary, the Reformer; for Apollo, the Poet, the Radiant Sovereign, the Healing Prophet, the Lawgiving Physician; for Priapus, the Pruning Hook, the Club, the Horn of Plenty, Ugliness. That is where the reading becomes precise, and that is where I left it.
Frequently asked questions
What does Lilith in the 6th house mean?
That the Call of the Black Moon makes itself heard in work and care. I do not read it as a shadow at this point of life, but as a lack that asks for an answer, and that answer takes shape in the opposite house, house 12.
Should I look at the mean, true or corrected Black Moon in house 6?
All three, if they are there. They are not always in the same house, and each has its respondent: Christos for the Mean, Apollo for the Corrected, Priapus for the True. The application tells you which ones are in house 6.
